Psalm 13

How long O Lord?  Will you forget me forever?  What an interesting way to start a Psalm after yesterday’s Psalm lead us that way.  You trust in God, and then one verse later doubt if He can hear you.  The editors knew what they were doing… and we are like this.  I can have a tremendous night with the Lord and find myself doubting something about Him not long after.  Faith is hard to “keep up.”  That is why it is so neat that He never leaves us nor forsakes us.  He loved us when we didn’t know Him and He draws us close now that we desire Him.
