Revelation 3:7-13

The letter to the church in Philadelphia (which means "brotherly love") was suffering. This church was being persecuted and that should be an encouragement to us. It should not be so because of their persecution, but because they survived. We must stand firm to the end. Many of us wane and wilt with the weight of the world – but we must stay strong and persevere in the manner that Christ did. We will overcome – not in our own strength – through Christ alone! Overcome, and be encouraged today. I am praying for you all that you would be faithful to God's word this week and spend time with Him.
